Reading and Writing Programs
Our tutors are experts at teaching our reading and writing programs and are up to date with the local common core standards and with the outlines for essays in the classrooms. They also excel at helping students find their voices in their writing and develop a joy for reading. We help with essays for students in 3rd grade and through college. We also help with writing essays for college applications, and once they are at their dream colleges, we even help students with essays remotely!
Sherrie Thompson, the owner, leads the writing team. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Composition from Sacramento State University and an ESL teaching credential from the Washington Academy of Languages. She and her team help students comprehend rhetoric and analysis in literature. Then, as students write their essays, we help them find their voices as writers. Authors like Dr. Seuss to Shakespeare are always welcome! 
Programs in reading and writing are extra important in the summertime and during holiday breaks when students can focus more on their journeys as creative writers without the distractions of homework.
